Kate is a native of Blackfoot, Idaho. She is an active member of the Portneuf Inn of Court, and she coaches a mock trial team at Pocatello High School. She also volunteers with the Sixth Judicial District CASA Program. After obtaining her undergraduate degree in Political Science from Brigham Young University, she attended law school at Arizona State University as a Sandra Day O’Connor Honors Fellow and a Leo & Annette Beus Top Scholar. During that time she was a Rule 39 Certified Student working with the Arizona Justice Project. She was a board member for the Women Law Students Association and a Note & Comment editor for the ASU Corporate and Business Law Journal. Additionally, she has worked as a bankruptcy paralegal in Utah. Kate is actively licensed to practice law in all Idaho state and federal courts.
Kate’s practice areas include business law, bankruptcy, commercial litigation, and real estate law.
In her free time, Kate enjoys baking, camping, and fishing with her husband Tyler and their dog. She also enjoys reading and spending time with her family.
